Taizé Prayer Service

Overview

Description
Taizé prayer is a form of prayer started by an ecumenical community of monks in Taizé, France, during World War II. The monastic order has a strong devotion to peace and justice through prayer and meditation. This Lenten prayer service will include instrumental music, sung chants, poetry and prayers from their worship tradition, in the midst of icons and candles in the Dominican Sisters’ Chapel. We will focus on hope – for our nation and our world.
