spiritual retreat walking the labyrinth at Siena Retreat Center in Racine, Wisconsin

Overview

Description
For centuries, believers have gone on pilgrimages to sacred sites or have walked labyrinths as an expression of devotion and meditation. We often make significant discoveries as we intentionally move our bodies through a time and space set aside for reflection.

During this day of reflection and meditation, we will learn about the history   of pilgrimages and hear about David Stack’s experience on pilgrimage at Camino de Santiago. We will also experience guided labyrinth walks at Siena Retreat Center, both the Chartres-style indoor  canvas labyrinth and the outdoor grass Cretan-style labyrinth.
