Silent Directed Retreat II

This retreat provides an opportunity to meet daily with one’s spiritual director and to share in the Eucharistic liturgy and common evening prayer.  Solitude, nature, and silence enhance these sacred days.

Sunday, July 9, to Saturday, July 15, 2017
The retreat begins at 3:30pm on Sunday and concludes with the noon meal on Saturday.
Massage/reiki available.

Cost of $485 includes $50 non-refundable deposit, spiritual direction, overnight accommodations, and meals.
 

Mary Anne Albert, SSSF, is a member of the School Sisters of St. Francis.  She has a master’s degree in pastoral studies from Loyola University and received training in spiritual direction at the Institute for Spiritual Leadership in Chicago.  Mary Anne directs retreats, offers spiritual direction, and currently ministers in Casco, Wisconsin.  She believes that creativity, scripture, and nature provide avenues for walking through life with understanding.

Byron Haaland, SCJ, has a bachelor’s in fine arts and a Master of Divinity degree, with over 30 years’ experience in spiritual guidance.  His areas of focus include spirituality of the heart, a playful approach to scripture, creation spirituality, ministry with people with HIV/AIDS, 12-Step recovery, and ministering with adult children of alcoholic or dysfunctional families.

Nancy A. Sell, OSF, is a School Sister of St. Francis.  With graduate degrees from Andover Newton Theological School in Massachusetts and Washington Theological Union in Maryland and training in spiritual direction, she has been involved in various aspects of ministry for over 40 years including parish, seminary, jail and religious community ministry.  She is currently involved in spiritual direction and retreat ministry.

Eileen Brynda, OP, is a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa.  She holds graduate degrees in Education and Pastoral Ministry (Boston College).  She has ministered as a teacher  and a principal and currently ministers as a parish Pastoral Associate, retreat leader,  and spiritual guide.  She received training in spiritual direction at Siena Retreat Center.
