Boundless Compassion Retreat

“Compassion is the ability to vitally imagine what it is like to be an other, the force that makes a bridge from the island of one individuality to the island of the other. ”

- John O'Donohue

Compassion can change a heart, change a life, change a world.  This week includes an exploration of the depths of this essential quality from many dimensions, including science, medicine, theology, spirituality, sociology, and psychology.

Participants are invited to ponder their personal and professional experiences of compassion, to reenergize their ability to offer loving kindness, and to go forth with a renewed commitment to be a compassionate presence for one’s self and for those who are in the midst of pain and struggle.

This intensive, interactive, and reflective week focuses on compassion toward others, self, and creation.
