Birth, Life, and Death in the Cosmic Cycle

“It is in this life that a person is born to eternal life...In this life all things are one.”

- Meister Eckhart

Why do so many people fear death?  How can we liberate this fear?  What dies?  What lives forever?  The Universe story, Zen teachings, and the Dominican mystic Meister Eckhart will help  us explore these questions.

Transforming a fear of dying is possible right here, right now, in the midst of suffering.  Because we are not separate, our personal awakening liberates this fear for others as well. This retreat day will include presentation, dialogue, and meditative practices.  We will have time for silence, creative expression and ritual.
