Awakening to the Depths

This year’s retreat will focus on “Companions on the Journey,” through silence, meeting daily with a spiritual director, morning and evening gatherings for prayer and other evening options.  Come and join us this week to listen attentively to the music of life and to the still small voice of the Holy One.

Sunday, July 16 to Saturday, July 22, 2017
The retreat begins at 3:30pm on Sunday and concludes with the noon meal on Saturday.

Jane Clare Ishiguro, Pastoral Associate of Good Shepherd Parish in Menomonee Falls, has a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from St. Francis Seminary and is a graduate of the Spiritual Guidance Training Program at Siena Retreat Center.  A good friend and companion of Clare and Francis of Assisi, Jane Clare treasures the blessings and challenges of each person's unique spiritual journey.

Maureen McDonnell, OP, a Sinsinawa Dominican, has been teacher, formation director, and college campus minister.  She is   a graduate of Siena Retreat Center’s Spiritual Guidance Training Program and ministers as a spiritual guide in the Madison area.

Jerry Mosser is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, retired from a ministry   of hospital and hospice chaplaincy, a vocation    to which he was called following a career as a research microbiologist and science writer.  He is a graduate of Siena Retreat Center’s Spiritual Guidance Training Program and serves as a spiritual guide and companion to others seeking wholeness and spiritual integration.  He describes his spiritual orientation as decidedly interfaith.

Pat Shutts has a BA in Theology and an MA in Pastoral Studies, and received training in spiritual guidance from Creighton University and bereavement ministry from the Diocese of Joliet, Illinois.  Pat brings her gift of compassionate listening and openness to the Spirit, and companions seekers as they acknowledge and discover God's presence in all of life's journey.  Pat is a lay covenant member of the Wheaton Franciscans.  She loves art, play, and prayer.

Cost of $485 includes $50 non-refundable deposit, spiritual direction, overnight accommodations, and meals.
